It looks a lot neater assembled! We designed all the mechanical components of this IoT sensor by integrating design for looks, function, and manufacturing. The internal Frame piece took some savvy design for injection molding.
The picture on the left is the finished Frame part and the image on the right is a draft analysis of the CAD. The draft analysis shows how the injection molding tools come together and gives a visual representation of how the part slips out of the mold. All parts of a consumer product should be designed according to their appropriate manufacturing process.
